I Need A Savings Account

Filed under: General Happenings In My Life — admin @ 4:55 pm

I have given serious consideration to opening a couple
Savings Accounts . Because my fiancé and I are going to be moving around so much, I think it would be a good idea. I found what looks like a good one at http://www.wamu.com/personal/savings_account/default.asp. I think I’m going open the account there. They’re called WaMu. They offer online savings, statement savings, traditional CD’s, online CD’s, and liquid CD’s. That looks really good to me! I have to talk to my fiancé about it though. I’m pretty sure that he will think that a savings account is a good idea. That way we won’t be stranded in hard times. We’ll actually be able to eat and afford stuff that we need. That would definitely be a good thing. I don’t want to wind up on the streets or something. That would be really bad. I used to have a savings account, but I closed it because I wasn’t using it. WaMu looks like it would provide everything that my fiancé and I are going to need in a savings account. Of course, my fiancé and I must discuss this thoroughly before we make up our minds about anything. If I were to decide this without asking him, that would just be asking for a fight. Not a good thing. Not a good thing at all.

It is very necessary to have a saving account. I have already one.

Great idea. Check out ING. You may as well shop around.

I had some issues with Wamu. And I know of many people who have as well.

I have my paycheck direct deposited from a major corporation and they held each one for a few days each time. And each time, the length they would hold it was different. So I would end up with overdraft charges.

I haven’t had this issue since switching to Bank of America.

Hrrrm, i just opened an account with Wamu (my 3rd savings account) and so far i havent had any problems with them. They dont really have any hidden fees or anything compared to Wells fargo, so i would recommend them too. I also liked BoA when i was living in Cali, but since they dont have any out here in Utah i opened an account with Wamu. So either of those 2 banks i would suggest :)
