What is it with cold and track meets? Every track meet I go to, it seems
like, is bone-cracking cold. I messed up my race this week because I got
sick becauseit was so cold. Running in the cold is not a good thing if
you want to stay healthy.

Track meet scores, placings, times, etc (Not that anybody cares at all)
100 Meter Dash- 7th place - 16.2 seconds
200 Meter Dash- 5th place - 26.3 seconds
400 Meter Dash- 5th place - 1 minute, 33 seconds
800 Meter Run- 1st place - 2 minutes, 34 seconds
Long Jump- 4th place - 10 feet, 1 inch
Pity this week wasn’t a ribbon meet. All that makes for an extrmely
exhausted person.

I haven’t heard from my phone buddy in Salem for a while. I wonder
what’s going on with him. My phone buddy is just that, somebody I never
get to see because he lives too far away.

It being Friday the 13th, I feel as though I must say something. Why
does everyone always get so superstitious whenever this day happens to
occur? For all the superstitious people out there, nothing bad happened
to me, and I even walked under a ladder and had a black cat cross my
path.

In P.E. class, the one known as "That Frustrating Boy" keeps picking on
me. Apparently, I’m not athletic enough to suit him. I’m athletic enough
to pass the class. This was brought on by the fact that ONE TIME I
tripped when we were playing baseball. I will never hear the end of it
if that boy has his way about it.

Well, I went to a track meet today. I did’nt finish the one race I was
in, because I hurt my ankle while I was long jumping. It occurs to me to
wonder, though, why do the organizers of track meets put the field
events first? They’re more dangerous than the running. If you ask me,
the field events should be last.

Well, I had a dentist appointment today. I haven’t been to the dentist
in many, many years. The dentist poked around for a while, went tsk,
tsk, and informed me that I have nine cavities that need to be filled.
NINE!!!! How did I manage to do that? It is absolutely horrifying.

Sundays are so boring. Usually they mean that the next day is the start
of another long, boring week at school, but not this week. This weekis
my spring break, and I have absolutely nothing planned.
